In 2005, an estimated 410,000 children under the age of five died from measles. Spread through the air, measles is one of the most contagious diseases known and is a leading cause of death among unvaccinated children.

The good news is that the disease is easily preventable with a simple intervention: an inoculation. The challenge is bringing that vaccination to the millions of children who need it in developing countries.
