The five things I am going to write about deal with my feelings about going to Kenya, and instead of needle shots, they should be put in a dessert.
To begin with, my feelings about going to Kenya, I feel happy and honored because I've never been to Kenya before. It is a once in a lifetime trip. It also makes me sad because I will see a lot of sick children.
Another thing is, life here in the United States is much better because we get clean things like water, clothing, and we get our health. Our technology is much better here than in Kenya.
Also another thing is life in Kenya. I don't think life there will be great because they don't get as much television channels as we do. Things over there would not be clean to me like their water, clothing, and health. They also lack technology.
In Africa people with measles have complications. Each year one million die from measles and it is the biggest killer there. To interest people to take their children to vaccinations, posters and brochures are made, so parents can take their children. People in the Red Cross get people to help them to get kids vaccinated. The way they travel is by boat, bike, car, or walking.
Also another thing deals with kids in Kenya. Kids in Kenya are sick with measles. They need money to get vaccination, so they will get better. The kids need more attention now, so they will get better.
Finally instead of needles as vaccinations, the shots should be put in a dessert. I would put the vaccine in a candy bar, like a Sneakers bar, so they could get the vaccine easily. I do not like needles and prefer candy.
The summary statement, the five things I wrote about are my feelings, life over here, life in Kenya, Measles, children in Kenya, and instead of needles put shots in desserts.
