I feel many different ways about the sick kids in Africa. Measles is a disease that can be prevented. I would feel and be completely different if I was a kid in Africa. Another problem in Africa is malnutrition. If I go to Africa, I feel that I can make a big difference in many people's lives.

In the U.S. Measles isn't a problem, but in Africa it's a deadly disease. I feel that a disease that is eradicated in one part of the world should be eradicated in the other part of the world. Measles is the leading cause of death for children in Africa and it's sad to think that children are dying from a disease that can be easily prevented by a vaccination. I also feel that vaccinations in Africa should be a necessity. In Africa the children start to get complications from the disease and a child shouldn't have measles long enough to get these complications. Measles is a large threat to the children of Africa.

If I were a child in Africa, instead of the United States, my life would be completely different. If I was born in Africa I might not even be alive right now, because of the many diseases they have. I would act like a different person and I'd have a changed view on life. I probably wouldn't have heard of all the things that I like now, for example video games, if I lived in Africa. My dress attire would be different and I would value everything that I receive more than I already do. I would treasure life and enjoy every aspect of it. Life would be unquestionably different if I were to live in Africa.

In my opinion, malnutrition is the second largest problem in Africa. In the United States there are very few children that are malnourished and I feel that there should be the same number of malnourished children in Africa, not more. Malnutrition is a very serious problem and if malnourished children get measles their chances of death is increased. Measles is already a deadly disease and malnutrition isn't making it easier for African children to survive. Malnourished children are already weak and easily exposed to viruses, so when they get a disease it hurts them more than a non-malnourished child. Africa has many problems and malnutrition is just one of them.

In conclusion, there are many problems in Africa that can easily be avoided. Measles can become a deadly disease if you are not vaccinated. Anybody would have a different attitude about life if they had the same experiences that the African children had. Malnutrition is a problem that can easily kill a child in numerous different ways. Africa's problems should be solved faster, but they are getting solved slowly, but surely.
